The patrol bag, intermediate cold weather bag and the bivy cover snap together to create a sleep system unrivaled in warmth, weather resistance and portability when carried in the compression stuff sack. With proper ECWCS clothing layers, this system can keep you comfortable in temperatures from 50 to -50! The entire system is under 11 pounds and can be compressed into one cubic foot inside of the stuff sack. The bivy (outer) cover is wind and water resistant and is often used in place of a tent when situations require it. This system is perfect for survival situations, extreme campers and hikers as well as recreational scouting and family camping trips.
