We bought this primarily for camping in rustic areas where there are no bath houses, but may be running water. But we’ve seen where you can even hook up a battery-operated pump to the intake and use river/creek/lake water and heat it up for a nice, hot shower. Now, we hang it outside the basement door in the back yard and with a curtain draped around, we can strip down after a hard day working in the yard and clean up before we even go in the house. Just as described, this tankless water heater provides hot water on demand within 2 seconds. The electronic igniter is operated by water pressure. When you turn the water on at the shower head, the igniter automatically lights the gas burner and the water gets hot immediately. It also shuts off automatically when the water is shut off at the shower head. Great design and wonderful product.
